3 Quick Tips to Fuel Your Faith
April 1, 2010 Leave a comment
How’s your faith level today? As important as faith is to achieving our dreams, it’s sometimes hard to maintain a high level of faith in the flames of extreme adversity.
So I just want to encourage you today, because it took great faith just to get up this morning and continue pursuing your dreams in spite of the fact that you may not have seen any tangible results recently. It takes great faith to believe that the people you’re supposed to be helping will eventually let you help them. It takes great faith to believe God for what seems like an unlikely solution to an impossible problem.
If your faith is running a little low, here are three quick tips to fuel your faith today…
- Feed your soul sustenance that will stimulate your aspirations and remind you that you’re not alone on your journey. Of course my #1 recommendation is the Bible. There are other resources that you can also read, hear, and watch that will remind you of God’s truths and promises to you.
- Find people who can see you beyond where you are. Ask for their prayers or just a conversation. Don’t try to go solo. You might need a partner to help you through this rough spot.
- Focus on achieving the next thing and stop worrying about the big thing. When you break up your dream into bite-sized chunks, it will be much more manageable – practically and mentally.
If you have allowed your situations to sap your strength, get plugged into the people and things that will reignite your hopes and boost your confidence. Your faith is extremely valuable and you will need it to carry you to the finish line.
What do you think about these tips? How do fuel your faith? I look forward to your comments.
