Entrepreneurial Economy Becoming More Fact than Fiction
Three separate stories in the past week has me convinced more than ever that we are moving even quicker toward an entrepreneurial economy than some have predicted. The sad thing is that many of these newly minted entrepreneurs will be involuntary or part of the “contingent workforce” – people that corporations are increasingly hiring to get the work done without having to pay benefits, vacation, sick leave or match 401(k) contributions. Some predict that the contingent workforce could rise to as high as 45% of the total workforce by 2030. Wow!

A ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. In this case we can’t prevent this seismic shift in the workforce, but we sure can prepare for it.
Entrepreneurship education and development is becoming more necessity versus just a nicety. Don’t get left out in the cold. Stay ahead of the curve. Prepare yourself now so that you have more options later.
